Terms of use
Last updated: 15 October 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of this website (secure-ci.dev) and to the SecureCI early-access programme (together, the “Site”). SecureCI (“we”, “us”), United Kingdom, operates the Site. By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.
Contact us about these terms at [email protected].
2. The Site and early access
- The Site gives general information about SecureCI. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time.
- Early access is a preview of a product in development. Joining doesn’t guarantee access, features or availability, and we may change or end the programme at any time. If we offer you a paid or production service, separate terms will apply.
- How we handle your personal data is described in our privacy notice.
3. The SecureCI CLI
The SecureCI command-line tool (@secureci/cli) and its GitHub Action are open-source software licensed under the
MIT License. That licence, not these terms, governs your use of
the code, and it provides the software “as is”, without warranty.
4. Using the Site
You agree not to:
- use the Site unlawfully or to harm others;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the Site or the systems behind it, or disrupt them;
- submit false information or other people’s details in the early-access form;
- scrape or copy the Site in bulk, other than through search engines and the files we publish for that purpose (such as
llms.txt).
We may suspend your access, including to early access, if we reasonably believe you have broken these terms.
5. Our content and name
Unless stated otherwise, the content of the Site belongs to us or our licensors. You may share links to it and quote reasonable extracts with attribution. The SecureCI name and logo are ours and are not licensed by the MIT License; see the CLI’s name and trademark notice.
6. Third-party sites and services
The Site links to sites and services we don’t control, such as GitHub, npm and the standards bodies we cite. We aren’t responsible for their content or practices, and a link isn’t an endorsement.
7. Compliance information
Parts of the Site, including our compliance mapping, explain how SecureCI features can support specific controls in standards and regulations. That content:
- is general information, not legal, audit, regulatory or compliance advice;
- doesn’t mean that using SecureCI makes you compliant with, or certified against, any standard or regulation. Only your assessor, auditor or regulator can decide that, and you remain responsible for your own compliance;
- reflects our reading of the versions of the standards and regulations cited, as of the date shown on the page. They change, and so may our mappings;
- describes what SecureCI can help with when you configure and run it, not a guarantee of any outcome.
PCI DSS is a trademark of PCI Security Standards Council, LLC. SOC 2 is a trademark of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). ISO/IEC 27001 is published by the International Organization for Standardization and the International Electrotechnical Commission. Other names belong to their owners. SecureCI is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of these organisations.
8. Our responsibility to you
We provide the Site free of charge and on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We try to keep it accurate and available, but we don’t promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or that its content is complete or up to date. Comparisons with other products reflect our research on the date shown on each page.
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site, including loss of profit, revenue, business, data or goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the law of England and Wales. If you use the Site as a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll change the date above when we do, and the version on the Site when you use it applies. Significant changes will be emailed to people on the early-access list.
10. Law and disputes
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Site, are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. We’d appreciate the chance to resolve any problem first: email [email protected].
